Our guards certainly do write reports regularly. It’s important for our guards to do this for a few reasons. The first is that the next guard coming to take over the shift needs to know what’s going on or if there were any problems. It’s also a great way for you to see what your security team is doing so that you can be sure you’re getting your value. It also helps to keep us informed as to our guards’ activity so that everyone who needs to be in the loop stays in the loop.
Our guards are trained to the standards of the state and then we often provide additional training for specialty guards like mobile patrol and fire watch security. We make sure that all of our guards are given the best training available so that they can give you the best service in the business.

Many are also tasked with enforcing traffic and parking regulations, ticketing offenders when necessary.
In emergency situations, campus security officers respond to the scene, provide first aid, and alert additional police or emergency personnel as appropriate. They maintain radio communication with other safety personnel and officers on campus, helping to coordinate emergency plans. They also write and submit incident reports to public safety supervisors or law enforcement agencies as appropriate. Other duties may include monitoring alarm systems and responding to alerts, training additional security officers and serving as crowd control at special events.
